The intersection of Pleasant Valley and Braddock roads (also known as Schneider Crossroad) in western Fairfax is a 4-way rural crossroad. During the morning and afternoons it experiences extreme backups as commuters from Loudoun county try to make their ways east and west, respectively. VDOT is proposing the construction of a roundabout at this location. This fall morning three Sully District Council officers went to the intersection see for themselves.
